Hobgood Hemp’s CBD is extracted from the hemp plant. CBD is short for Cannabidiol . It is in a naturally occurring class of molecules called cannabinoids. CBD is one of over 100 plus compounds found in cannabis. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations. CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the plant that possesses a wide range of benefits and does not cause a high, unlike THC. Our bodies are made up of an endocannabinoid system and uses cannabinoids to maintain healthy cells and according to researchers, CBD could be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered with a variety of potential benefits. 

Hobgood Hemp CBD products are only recommended to be taken orally or topically depending on the product.  Most will enjoy the flavor of the oils. If you don’t, you can mix it with your favorite item like honey or a juice. Our products are tested to be tasty and can be purchased with a natural hemp flavor or with other natural flavors (like mint).  Oils are to be taken sublingually and held under your tongue for 30 plus seconds before being swallowed, this enhances the efficacy and makes it available to your body quickly. The topical can be applied as needed to an affected area – it is absorbed through the skin. Our gummies are to supplement other forms of CBD use or for those who do not enjoy the tinctures. 

Our CBD products are usually labeled in two ways. The total number of MG of CBD in the container and the MG per unit of dosage. For example, our 30 ml bottle of tinctures would show 600 MG of total CBD in the bottle and 20 MG per milliliter. When it comes to tinctures, our recommendation would be to start at a lower dose and increase over time as needed until desired effect is gained. Each person may respond differently so we recommend to “start low and go slow.” Topicals can be applied as needed to the affected areas. We are always glad to give some hemp help. Most will use Hobgood Hemp products daily. Some once a day, others as many as 3 times a day. Use it as needed

Our products will have a lot number and “best if used by date” on them when purchased. If stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight our CBD is good for 9-12 months, after that it might be used but begin to lose some potency.
